Onkyo unveiled three spanking new AV receivers for the current year.

Despite that the electronics markets, specifically the audio visual markets, have lately been overwhelmed by a wide range of players, these three new gadgets, specifically the Onkyo TX-SR308, TX-SR508 and TX-SR608, belong to the entry and mid level category and possess HDMI 1.4 connections that are capable of passing 3D signals from a Blu-ray player to a television.

The Onkyo TX-SR308 is a 5.1 channel AV receiver that creates an output of 65 watts per channel and is laden with attributes such as 3 HDMI 1.5 inputs which come hand in hand with audio return channel and passthrough, 3D capability, onboard Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding, transparent on-screen display and an Onkyo U-Port for proprietary iPod and HD Radio connections.

The Onkyo TX-SR508 is a 7.1 channel AV receiver which delivers an output of 80 watts per channel with Dolby ProLogic IIz decoding with the use of four HDMI 1.4 inputs which are laden with audio return channel and passthrough.

To top it off, the Onkyo TX-SR608 is a 7.2 channel THX Select2 Plus certified AV receiver that is made to produce an output of 100 watts per channel. It is primed with 6 HDMI 1.4 inputs with audio return channel and passthrough, including a front HDMI input, 1080p upscaling on all video sources and analog video upconversion to HDMI.

While Onkyo AV receivers are already widely popular for their fantastic traits, considering the variety of features found in these ball new AV receivers, their ridiculously cheap costs are for sure worth every cent!
