One of the most disturbing factors a homeowner can come across is the fact that there may be mold growing in their home .Not all molds are dangerous and there is a great variety of them, as a matter of fact there are over 200 different types.

It is very important that you identify the type of mold and as to whether it is one of the dangerous types because it can adversely affect the health of you and your family. Ideally, you will want a specialist in this field that is able to make the proper identification and this is called a Toxic Mold Inspector. They have received extensive training in the types of molds that may be present and how toxic they can be.

They can also put you on the right track as to clearing your home of this problem. What they will do is they will take a sample of the molds and then put it through some testing. One of the problems with this unwanted substance is that it can be growing in your home and you do not even know it and you cannot see it.

One thing that you may be surprised to learn about some of the dangerous molds is that many of them will give off a distinct odor. If you do get a chance to see where it is growing take a close look and see if it is like a greenish black type mold that seems to be flowering. If so then this could be the toxic black mold.

It grows very quickly and it is not the same or to be confused with the green and white molds that you will see on foods and it is not the same as the black mold that shows up on your shower curtain from the dampness.

Most often toxic mold comes out on paper such as drywall wood or even ceiling tiles although probably carpet and wallpaper are the two most favorite spots for this type of mold to grow on.

If you have any suspicion at all that you may have mold growing in your home you would be wise to get the professionals to determine this. It is not something that you want to let go because it will just keep multiplying and eventually everyone’s health is going to suffer from it to some degree.

It does not necessarily mean as we have mentioned that just because there is molds growing in your home g that it is the dangerous type but you need to know what you are dealing with t no matter what type it may be. You have to find a remedy to correct it, prevent from returning, and find out perhaps with the potential cause was in the first place.
